Easy onion and tomato chutney:
Grind 4 onions and 2 tomatoes together.
Heat a kadai. Add 4 table spoons of gingelly oil. Do tadka with mustard, urad dhal and curry leaves.
Add the onion tomato paste and stir well on high flame for a minute. Add salt and chilly powder and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
Turn off once the oil separates from the mixture.
