…my MIL. She always boss over me and instructs me and scolds me and advices me and what not.
When I don’t wear pottu – ‘Where is your bindhi?’
When I wear pottu – ‘why your bindhi is so small. Put the bigger one’ and she ensures I put one.
I threw a spoon in the sink while I was cooking in a hurry – ‘Why are you making noise? You should not throw the spoon. Put it slowly’
In the morning, just before she goes to school – ‘I will come back in the afternoon and then we will go out to play. You should not cry for me ok? I will be back. You just do something in the kitchen and I will come soon, ok? Now go inside. bye.’
and one day I didn’t give lunch to BD. She saw his lunch box in the kitchen and asked me:
Bingo – Why daddy’s lunch box is here?
BM – Because I didn’t give him lunch today.
Bingo – Mummy, you should not do like that. You should give lunch to daddy.
She is definitely my MIL.
I like and admire him for his lifestyle, thoughts and of course writings. He died last year but his songs (in 7 movies) got released in 2014 as well. You can now guess how actively he lived. While it’s very tough to select few best songs of him as (almost) everything is best.
Past two months I was very busy in travelling and festivals. I almost stopped reading except Tamil Books. Here is the list of books which I am reading currently:
Mogamul by T. Janakiraman
Oru puliya marathin kathai by Sundara Ramasamy
Nagaram by Sujatha
Meendum Jeeno by Sujatha
Pinocchio (couldn’t get the link. We bought it in a nearby shop)
Today I ate:
100 grams of plain milkmaid
4 pieces of badam sweet sent by MIL
1 dairy milk chocolate
2 laddus made by yours truly
4 paneer paratas.
I am not going to complain about my weight anymore when I absolutely don’t care about the same. My weight is 62 kg and if you take tummy out of my body then the weight would be 42 kg. And I hereby announce my ‘looks-like-7-months-pregnant tummy’ became a part of my body and it’s not possible for me to get rid of it.
