Seven Things About Me:

  1. I don’t like waking up in early morning.

  2. If I like a book, I will give priority to that and I will finish it as soon as possible. I finished ponniyin selvan (5 parts) in 2 weeks.

  3. I turned 30 last month and surprisingly I feel bad about it. Someone please bring time machine; want to travel 10 years back.

  4. Somehow I am not able to read foreign authors book. I am working on it now. I mean, I am trying to read more books written by them.

  5. I feel good if Bingo says that she likes her daddy.

  6. I am so craving for organising and executing a wedding; from shopping to farewell of guests.

  7. I wish I am little more intelligent.

Bingo spilled some paint and she started crying thinking that I am going to scold her ~rolling eyes~

To make her feel normal, I told her we can draw some animal out of this and she wanted me to draw elephant.

Now, stop laughing. This is my way of drawing elephant.

Atta Laddu Recipe

Published July 27, 2014 by Bingo's Mom

This is Bingo’s most favorite sweet. Initially I used to make in bulk but, now-a-days I am making it whenever required. I don’t measure the ingredients. I am giving a rough measurement here.

Ingredients:

Atta – 3/4 cup

Sugar – Little less than 1/2 cup

Melted ghee – As required

Badam and cashew (optional) – 10 nos. each

Method:

Dry roast the atta till it starts fuming. Do it in a low flame and stir continuously otherwise it will get burnt easily. Powder the sugar and nuts separately.

Mix atta, sugar powder and nuts powder together. Ad ghee little by little and make a crumbly mix and make laddu out of this mixture. Store in an air tight container and savour.

This is not the original color of the laddus, this is due to bad lighting:

Original color is this:

Notes:

  • Adding nuts powder is optional. Bingo does not eat nuts and dry fruits as it is so, I hide them in powdered form in her food.

  • Adding ghee is according to one’s preference. I add extra ghee for easy formation of laddu.

  • You can add powdered edible gum (gaund??) as well into this laddu. It is good to consume edible gum during winter as it will induce body heat. But, more than two laddus are not advisable at a time. In that case, we can drink a cup of milk to cool the body. (this is applicable only if we add edible gum).
